Programs offered by Nora Pickett Irish Dance Academy (NPIDA) place a strong emphasis on the spirit of Irish dance while keeping the relationships between instructors and students a top priority. Classes are designed to accommodate dancers at every level from Prebeginner to Open Championship. Our student to teacher ratio for young Prebeginner dancers remains very low at 4 to 6 dancers to 1 instructor. Nora's assistant instructors (Courtney, Kimberly, Kate, Natalie, Kali, Kelly, Leigh, Hanna, Rachel and Rebecca) all started as Prebeginners with NPIDA. Students attend weekly classes and train rigorously to improve their Irish dancing performance.

The majority of NPIDA students attend 4 to 7 competitions and/or championships per year, although competitions are not mandatory for students. Dancers train to a combination of traditional Irish dance music and a more modern style of Irish music to keep the energy and excitement high in the classes. Our goal is to grow, nurture, and foster the passion for Irish dance with each and every student while they strive for excellence in a positive and encouraging environment..
