The Western Canadian Regional Oireachtas is taking place on November 10-11, 2017 at the Victoria Conference Centre (720 Douglas St., Victoria, B.C. V8W 3M7). This year, there will NOT be a Mini Feis on the Sunday, however, there will be Treble Jig Trophy dances (for Novice/Prizewinners) and Traditional Set Trophy competitions (for Beginners to Prizewinners) instead on the Friday and Saturday. In a separate competition, there will be Traditional Sets for the Oireachtas competitors.
Saturday evening, after Awards, the 2017 Western Canadian Champions will participate in a Parade of Champions to the music of the Irish band, KNACKER’S YARD!
